Our Story
Rustic Pines might be new to the East Texas area, but our property has been cherished by the Kerr family since 2000. Spanning 16 acres, it features beautifully landscaped and wooded areas. We've transformed our barn into a unique and charming home.
Our property boasts a picturesque gazebo overlooking the pond, a spacious open area, and outdoor restrooms. The pool area, which also overlooks the pond, includes a serene water garden. There are many stunning spots perfect for photography.
My husband Peter and I share a deep love for nature and the peaceful tranquility of country living. We dedicate our time to enhancing our surroundings and continually improving the property.
I manage a retail store in Tyler, but my true passion lies in merchandising decor and providing exceptional customer service. I’ve always dreamed of sharing our beautiful property with others, and opening this venue has allowed me to combine my skills and expertise to make dream weddings and events come true.
My dream began in 2022 after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. By God's grace, I am now in full remission and felt called to spread love and joy. My vision is to offer a beautiful, nature-filled location for family and friend gatherings without the exorbitant price tag.
Peter and I began building the gazebo and restrooms in 2022, and we started renting out the spaces in May 2023. We take great pride in completing this work ourselves.
We have a flair for decorating, and Halloween is a particularly special time for us as we enjoy celebrating various occasions and holidays.
